What is your main idea?

eloomi is a learning and people development SaaS that helps mid-sized companies simplify learning and performance management to help change people outcomes. We tap directly into the main challenges for HR and the operation to retain, upskill and develop employees effectively. Many organizations need a more effective process that also has a more human approach. Our software offers that but then it is also very fast to implement which is critical for our customers. 

How did you get making and selling your own software?

We realized through our own experiences working in organizations that legacy systems were complex and people were basically frustrated using them. In addition, there was no tool on the market that was helping companies with both learning and people development all in one solution. Since the two are essential to the employee journey, we decided to create our own platform to support HR, managers and employees throughout their entire lifecycle. From the beginning, our product development was conducted in collaboration with customers and we sold the first solution already in the first month. 

What was the most difficult problem you faced?

Helping customers have the paradigm shift that with our product they can do both performance development connected to learning and thus leading to employee behavioural change. The market is filled with learning platforms and people development platforms, and for companies to realise it can all be done in the same solution can sometimes be a struggle.

What is your vision for the next 5 years?

We will continue to create a learning and people development platform that admins and users actually want to use by ensuring the software is always up-to-date and on-trend through innovative design and in a scalable way. We are convinced that through technology and our smooth customer success model we will continue to make it even simpler, faster and more effective for our customers to implement their solutions. Allowing customers to use what they need easily whether it is features, amount of users or functionalities.

What is the biggest risk, if any?

For eloomi, we honestly don’t see any serious risks in the future. Even if you consider things like the pandemic, it has become even more imperative for organizations to replace legacy systems and introduce learning and development tools that support upskilling, productivity and engagement in a hybrid workplace. For organizations, one of the biggest risks is that they will be losing to the competition if they don’t get the processes and tools in place that will help grow people’s skills and create a strong development culture. 

Who are you building your software for?

We have built our solution for employees, whether they be HR professionals, SMEs, blue-collar workers, the CEO, anyone in an organization. We specifically pay close attention to making the platform easy to be managed by HR professionals so they can actually work on the things that will make the biggest impact for their team and organization. The variety of users is endless and our software supports them all.

In what countries is your software solution available?

We have customers in more than 25 countries. Our global platform, comes translated in 24 languages and has a built-in custom translator so any word, phrase or term can be changed to suit any organization wherever they may be located in the world.

Who are your competitors?

To be honest, we don’t see anyone in the market who can help the customer implement their solution as fast as eloomi while sustaining high customer satisfaction after launch. We have plenty of competitors with point solutions in the learning market and some in the people development market, but as for competitors who offer the complete solution for the entire employee journey, we have none. 

How many people have been impacted by your product?

Over 600 organizations across the world use eloomi.

Do you have any key metrics that show traction?

Each platform has built-in reporting to track key metrics for the customer. Having said that, every customer is different and depending on the customer’s lifecycle different metrics matter at where they are.

What does data represent to you in our industry?

We use data every day to ensure that the solution we provide matches our customer’s needs. We are constantly collecting customer feedback to ensure that our product is not only on par with what they expect, but that it is able to support their needs to ensure a successful employee journey for their users.
