Cebir is a pioneer in designing tests and test platforms, who delivers products and services to large and medium-sized companies in various fields worldwide (employment and temporary work agencies, government institutions, universities,...).
In 1987 Arnold Böhrer decides to combine his strong interest in information technology with the knowledge and experience he has gained as a psychologist at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, the Belgian Army and the NATO. He founds the ‘Center for Basic Interactive Research’ (Cebir), focusing on the automation of HR functions and selection procedures. In 1990 Cebir is awarded the prestigious Vocap prize for the development of TASC, the software-based test system.
Cebir currently employs some twenty people. A team of psychologists and computer specialists ensure the continuous development and maintenance of the test system and the tests themselves.
